This summer you can’t go without a pair of shorts. That’s why I show you the shorts parade!

I know this is a difficult topic for some women. The past few weeks I am reading about how women want to cover up their arms and legs, preferably up to the ankles. What can I say? Eff those beauty standards and wear a pair of shorts.

Although the term short says it all, it doesn’t have to be like this. There are different lengths to choose from. If you have a problem with your legs you won’t like either one of these. Luckily there are also women who love to show off their legs, or just don’t mind to. For those women I have selected a few great shorts.

denim shorts

My all time favorite is the denim shorts. Yes you can buy the simple, plain styles as well but I love to show this one! It’s very trendy with its boyfriend fit, also it has the ripped parts.

printed shorts

A pair of shorts with a casual fit and with an allover print. Be careful that the print doesn’t look old fashioned! I found a pair I really like, this one has that fashion jungle theme.

jogger shorts

Like we had the joggers trend this spring, it continues for summer but in shorts. These jogger shorts are very comfortable, wide fit and with a drawstring in the waist.

swim shorts

Something we have seen with men for years and since recently also for women, the swim shorts. Ideally if you are comfortable in your swim wear but like to cover up those hips and thighs. Make sure to keep it feminine.

skorts

A pair of shorts that resemble a skirt has a name: skort. It’s a flow short with a nice drape. It almost looks like you’re wearing a skirt. This does emphasize your hips slightly more then other styles.
