My style is casual chic: sportive items combined with classics. So what’s a kimono blazer, casual or chic?
Well it doesn’t really matter, it’s all about how you style it. In each new collection there is some form of kimono style added the last few years, in different ways. So what’s a kimono, other than Japanse? You can recognise it from it wide sleeves, there is no closure at front and often has a smooth or no collar.
The kimono blazer is made of a fine jersey material and wears very comfortable. Its white base with black print makes it a real classic blazer if you ask me. A jacket which never goes out of style. I am wearing a size UK20 which fits like a EU48. This type of jacket is nice to wear a little bit oversized. Underneath I wear a simple white viscose top which is nice with this type of sunny weather. To make it more of statement look, I’ve paired it with this edgy necklace.
An outfit would not be ‘me’ if it wasn’t for a little casual touch. I’m a huge fan of casual jeans, so this black jeans with destroyed areas is right up my alley. The raw edge is what caught my eye and I love to emphasise it by wearing it with a big turn up. The jeans are a size 50 which is a UK size 22 as it has a tight fit. This is very often with black and dark jeans by the way. Doesn’t even matter because it’s not about the size in the label, it’s about how it fits you!
