Getting summer ready in this sheer khaki tankini while strolling down the balustrade along the coast of Santorini

Getting ready for summer the right way by spending our spring break on the beautiful eiland of Greece, Santorini. Way back when there was more snow than sun I bought this tankini and it was finally time to take it out for sunbathing. I’ve worn this set many times during our getaway and I felt in my element surrounded with the little white houses and bleu rooftops under a sunny sky. The style of this tankini is so original, none like I’ve ever seen before.

We made these photos during our holiday to Santorini, where we went to spontanously and didn’t book anything ahead. Not directly at the beach but we had an amazing sea view at our lovely bed & breakfast. It has a hottub overlooking the ocean and breakfast was served at the sun terrace, a nice place on a lovely island. every body deserves to enjoy the sun

During our week on Santorini we stayed at different places but this was by far my favourite.The endless view over the ocean and along the rural coats the white houses with blue roftops and the sun high in the sky. It looked exactly as the postcard I had sent my grandmother, idyllic, especially near Oia. Even though we visited it pre season, it was warm enough to enjoy the sun and strolling around. A perfect moment to enjoy the sun in my new sheer khaki tankini as no one can hold me back from enjoying the sun, regardless my size or shape.

what am I wearing

A tankini is a two piece, of which the top is longer and covering the belly. The regular ones have a fitted top so it looks like a bathing suit but this one if different. The khaki color of this tankini is feminine but casual. I love the original shape of the top with the mesh layers at front. It actually has a little split which flows slightly when moving around. When sunbathing I prefer a strapless top and these can be adjusted both ways. I am wearing the top is a size 46 which fits me perfectly and the bottoms are an XXL which are also a nice fit for my UK size 20 (EU 48). Below you can find the brand details:
