A classic Breton stripe combined with volant denim. The perfect spring outfit!
Something which never runs out of fashion is the Breton stripe. The term is based on the striped jumpers the sailors wore but by now it’s a common name for striped garments. Each spring it returns in the collections, it never gets boring. It’s a classic print which can be worn in different ways, mostly casual. Depending on how you style it you can make it as classic, or as fashionable as you like!
The dress has an off white base and black stripes and the top part has a cutseam and the skirt is flared. This is a typical skater dress and I love to wear these shapes in summer. Besides the stripe, the fit is also a classic and can look a bit too sophisticated in my opinion. So I’ve paired it with red and denim, which is always a good idea when it comes to black and white outfits. The red heels are borrowed and of course this look asks for red lips. The bandana is something I love to wear in summer to get the hair out of my face.
Recently I wore a short dress wit bare legs and without thinking about it, which was the first time ever. Each year I doubt about wearing shorts and dresses when my legs are still so pale. So this year it didn’t even crossed my mind, I just went for it and I only realised it later on that day. It actually made me happy! Just go for it! Scroll down to see all shopping details & sizing.
The dress is a European size 44-46, which fits me fine so it has a loose fit. It’s is available in the full size range, from EU 32 up to EU 50 what shows true size diversity. The jacket is a UK size 20 which is the largets size, I was happy it fits over my arms because it doesn’t have stretch in it. Though after wearing it a couple of times it got more loose. The purse I shopped last year on Mallorca, I still wear it a lot.
