This look gives me festival vibes, looking forward to dancing in the sun with a drink in my hand. Let’s go!

The festival season has started and the weather has been great over here in Holland. Dancing in the open air, drinks in the sun and lots of fun is what a festival means to me. I was longing for those days when I put on this outfit, which was actually my beach look. Though I’m not a party animal (anymore) and I haven’t planned any upcoming festivals yet, I do love to have drinks on the beach with some good music and a beautiful sun down. So, where’s the party at? This look is giving me all those vibes.

This look is the perfect outfit for such a spontaneous evening at the beach. The tunic is see-through but not too much which makes it my new favoriet beach dress. I’m wearing it over my bikini top and paired it up with high waist shorts. Personally I’m more a tankini kinda girl and I don’t often wear a bikini. I’ve got scars on my belly and I don’t like showing my bellybutton. With a semi transparent tunic like this I can wear it, especially with a high waist underneath it.

Nowadays it’s not so much about clubbing anymore, especially in summer. Festival vibes are everywhere and if there is something the Dutch are good at, is organising such festivals. I’ve spend many days partying and I love the atmosphere of outdoor dancing and the sun going down while at it. This would be a perfect outfit for such a fun day, combined with swimwear, a little transparency but comfort at the same time. Do you have any festivals planned this year?

What I love about this, is the high-low effect which it has at the hem. The lower back is long enough to be a dress and the front is short like a tunic. The oversized part I don’t always like, to be honest. However when I’m wearing it like this, when you can clearly see my figure through the fabric, it shows my original silhouet. Here I’m wearing a size L which fits a UK 18-20. The sleeves are the right length for me and have a wide fit. Just like the neckline, which I like because it shows off my bikini straps. Though I’ve also worn it with a striped tank top underneath which looks cute as well.
