The military style, in ripped jeans & army jacket
On one of the first sunny days of spring I went for a casual Sunday. An army jacket styles with ripped jeans, very casual. But with heels, because that’s my thing. I love mixing styles but I always want to keep it feminine.
The good part about the military trend is that it always comes back. It takes a lot shorter then most trends, so you could almost say it’s never out of fash! What’s even better is that it’s avaiable in my size, no need to visit the dump store but just buy a fashionable jacket. It was love at first sight, this army green jacket of light woven twill in lyocell. The fabric is just perfect for a blazer jacket, it has a nice drape and I can wear it now and all through summer as well.

Despite the casual color, fabric and patches it still is kind of a dressed jacket because of the fit. I’ve styled it with a white top, to add some freshness. The distressed jeans are my current favorite, if I could I would wear it every day. The ripped parts stay in place but if you apply serious force you can tear them even further. Not my plan though! The fit of these jeans are perfect for me, it’s a slim fit and I love how it follows my curves.
The jacket is a size EU 48 (UK 20) and has a tight fit, as it has no stretch. Especially the arms are slightly smaller but I like a sleek sleeve. The jeans is a size UK 18 (EU 46) and has obviously lots of stretch. The wrap is made of a light jersey viscose and wear so comfortable. Summer proof, just like the sandals which I love to wear. They’re just so comfortabel and I love the army green for shoes, something else then black. The yellow purse is some added pop of color.
