A versatile garment, the kimono. Fashion for all shapes and sizes & in different varieties

Last summer we saw the kimono everywhere in sheer chiffons with floral prints and tassels. The winter brought us kimonos as cardigans of heavy knits. If you haven’t picked up this trend, it’s not too late. This summer the kimono is hotter then ever! 

Tassels are THE trimming of this season. These long frays at the bottom hem, or along the sleeves and even on bags and shoes. You love them or you hate them. I’m a fan! Combined with lace and chiffon you get an elegant kimono.

Bright prints in different ways, all summer proof. Combine this with a cute pair of shorts and a singlet and you’re good to go for a casual night out. More fancy? Combine it with pencil pants and an embellished top for a fancy look. Or just wear it over your bikini!

Not into the tassels but you like the kimono fit? These are great alternatives without the tassels, but the same look. Bright prints, colorful and just as multi functional as the ones above.
