A mix of black stripes in a world of color

Look at these amazing colors in the back ground, the bulbs are all in bloom this time of the year. A year ago this month we bought our new home which is situated amongst the famous Dutch flower areas. Here is where they grow all the flowers like tulips, daffodils and hyacinths. Fields of beautiful colors, the perfect place to shoot the photos wearing black stripes. I’ve moved over to this town not so long ago and am just amazed about this lovely scenery.

This gorgeous skirt is made of a black transparent striped fluent fabric. It fits tight in the waist and had box pleats at the hips which accentuates the waistline perfectly. The stripes of the top go well with the skirt, I love a little print mix. The off shoulder top is very feminine and works well in different styles. In this case paired with high heels and red lips, which makes it almost a sexy look.

a flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms.

This skirt can be worn all year. Now I’m wearing it like this, but it goed well with a pair of tights and nice boots as well. Any color can be worn with it, but an all black look would suit this perfectly as well. By choosing black and white gives it a monochrome look. The tote bag goes perfectly with that, and the pop of color yellow matches perfectly.

The skirt is a size UK 20 which fits like a EU48, however you can easily go one size down. I love to wear this skirt high waisted, it gives me an hourglass figure effect. The off shoulder top is from the regular collection of H&M and I’m wearing this biggest size, XL. It’s fits me perfectly without being too tight. Underneath I’m wearing a strapless bra. The high heels are high and not for every day, but I absolutely love them! Killer heels!
