Leopard burn out & pinstripes on top of the world; an all balanced navy blue in different structures
To be honest I’m actually kind of boring because I just love to match. This season it’s all about clashing colours but I take my time getting there. In love with this top, but how to wear it? I went through my closet, got some old stuff, new stuff and there you go! Sometimes this actually works, lol.
It was earlier this year that I saw the current collection of Adia already. One of the items that really stood out for me immediately was this dark blue top. A burn out top with high neck and lovely bellow sleeves and cuffs. The effect of the fabric is so elegant, burn out is a technique to literally burn out parts of the fabric, leaving a lovely pattern. Love this technique and makes each look so chic.
“it’s better to burn out than fade away”
The top can be worn in different ways but with me it easily looks so preppy. So I decided to combine it with jeans for a more casual look. These jeans I got last year and have a great fit. They are the perfect basics, dark blue and light washing makes it simple. The waistcoat is also one from last year which I actually never wear. It accentuates the hips a bit too much but I decided I didn’t care! To top things off, these silver boots with pearls, love them.
The new season is giving me lots of inspiration, watching all the clips from Fashion Week(s). When it comes to fashion I never really mind that the summer is over. A new season, new fashion so bring it on! Fall is the best season, falling leafs, beautiful colours and cozy moments, yes I’m ready. The top has a wide fit, this is a size small.
