This year nature sets the colors for autumn, and for your wardrobe. My growing baby bump is a new way of shop your shape, not your size

All seasons have their charmes but autumn is the prettiest one! The colors of the trees that are changing, the leafs falling and that after summer sunshine. Beautiful! Earlier I wrote about the trend colors of autumn and winter 2018 which revealed many colors from this seasons’ nature. The yellow tones, especially okra, dark greens like emerald and olive green but also deep reds and pinks. All colors of autumn and blended into one garment.

On one of those after summer days I met up with Beck to make photos downtown Rotterdam. I was wearing this blouse dress which was perfect for such a day. Though I did wear flat instead of these heels. Not only because this is just more comfortable walking around such a beautiful city. It’s also a wise(r) decision as I recently learned that walkling on high heels is not recommended for pregnant women. One could fall face forward being out of balance. Since that sounds like typically me I didn’t take the risk, though couldn’t resist shooting in these gorgeous boots though!

Shopping has become a little more challenging with the growing baby bump but so far, so good. Though I must admit that my bump isn’t that big being 30 weeks pregnant when I compare myself to others. I guess the little one has enough space to grow! Sometimes it can be difficult though as this season the trends are my style and the offer in plus size is bigger than ever! So I apply a large dose of shop your shape and hope this trend will linger on a little longer.

This look was completed in collaboration with Belloya, a Dutch-Belgian brand for which I write a monthly blog. I do this together with other blog colleagues Els, Marianne and Hermina. It’s a nice way to show the latest collection on different shapes, sizes and styles. All four of us have a different body type, different size and height, I’m the shortest! The blouse dress I am wearing is a Belloya size 3 which just barely closes at my bump. When it won’t fit me anymore I will wear it openend up with the belt strapped backwards with jeans.
