Preppy all the way in these houndstooth on the hips and cherry on my lips

Oh yes I know, don’t emphasize your biggest parts. Well f*ck the fashion rules, today I’m wearing what I like! This preppy skirt from houndstooth tweed is my look for today. Sorry to start off so rude, but there has been so many judgmental comments all over the world this week! Let’s change, let’s just respect each other.

Sometimes you just have to let go of all the rules, the expectations and the assumptions and just go with whatever makes you happy. This is how I felt when I wore this skirt. I absolutely love tweets and all things preppy. Somehow this always pops up during fall. My favorite season of them all!

Who said you can’t mix prints and tweets? Oh yes, I am bending the rules even further. I’m wearing a heart printed blouse with cap sleeves and a tiny black bow. The blouse is tucked in so you can see the belt which came along with the skirt. Don’t you just love it? Though I love the cute blouse, I have to be realistic. It’s fall and soon it will start to get colder, a great moment to wear my new bomber. I absolutely love this color. It’s a pale pink color, but slightly darker compared to what we saw this summer. As my sun kissed skin starts to become paler, this color will still suit my complexion.

The skirt was love at first sight and I ordered it online. I ordered two sizes as I wasn’t sure what to expect since there’s no stretch in it. I find it fits a little tight, but I’m wearing the EU size 48, which is a size UK22 according to their grading. The blouse is a light viscose quality and wears lovely, I’m wearing a size 48.
