denim, off white and blue tones for summer
Well I could be spending my summer days on the beach but the weather is just not that good in Holland. The good part is that the shops have plenty of sale going on and the new collections are coming in too. A great moment to go treasure hunting, and so I did. I’ve found this cute lace bomber and I couldn’t wait to wear it.
As you know I worked for DIDI and one of my projects was this bomber. When I saw the first sketch I knew I would love this jacket. Since I shop a lot –yes I admit it– and I had enough jackets does this even exist? I decided not to buy it. Apparently I couldn’t let go of this jacket in my mind. When I was walking through the store my eyes spotted the lace bomber. Oh my, should I?
Pretty Different – DIDI
The jacket was on sale so I couldn’t resist buying it this time! So the next day I couldn’t wait to try it on. How to combine it? The lace is girly and even a little classic so I wanted something tough to go with it. A pair of ripped jeans, you’ve seen these before, I love the fit of these jeans. This dirty blue top is slightly too short compared to what I usually wear but I love the color. Now combined with the jacket, it’s a perfect combo.
I’m wearing the jacket in the largest size, XXL though I also could have worn the XL but it was slightly too narrow on the shoulders. I always buy jackets on the wide side so I can wear it in fall too with a long sleeve underneath it. The top and jeans are a size 20 (EU 48). The shoes I bought last year already and are from New Look. The scarf and clutch are both from two different thrift shops and were a real bargain.
