It’s wedding season! Wearing lace & glitter in pastel

How I love weddings, the celebration of love! Last week I attended a wedding of dear friends. We were invited to come over for drinks, diner and dancing. What to wear?

The little black dress was not appropriate. The cute dress I have from last year wasn’t suitable as I a wasn’t sure what the weather would do, they predicted rain. So what to wear? It was a low key wedding with a small group of friends and family.

I decided to do some shopping. I went to MS mode and saw these colors and loved it immediately, but would it suit me? The previous dress in pastel was a soft pink tone and worked out just fine, so I decided to go for it.

The top is made of a very heavy, thick jersey and really fits very nice. I am wearing a size 46 as I wanted it to be fitted. The lace is transparent at the top so I’m wearing a skintone bra underneath. The skirt is fully lace and has a lining, both made of  jersey as well and wears very light and has lots of stretch. I am wearing a size 48. I have tucked in the top and wearing the skirt high waisted. To add a little sparkle I am wearing a glitter belt and silver accessories. Finally I got a chance to wear these light blue sandals which I shopped last season, don’t you love these too? Let me know what you think of my outfit, leave me a message.
