Soon it’s New Year’s Eve, another year is over. Bye bye, leaving 2017 in style

It’s hard to believe that another year is over, it went by so fast. I started 2017 with a burst of energy and for the first time ever, I talked about how I was doing. Not so well, I stopped working, started getting therapy and was convinced that this year would solve all my problems. Little did I know. One thing I’ve learned, it all happens for a reason and one day we know what & why.

What I like about the holidays is that we can all dress up without an excuse. Something I miss in daily life, women just dressing up because they want to. So, let’s improve the world by giving the right example! With this thought in mind I picked out this dress, because you can never wear too much glitter. I changed into Tinkerbell because the glitter is now everywhere. Let’s hope dressing up is contagious now! Like I always do, I combined the dress with some casual items to give it my kind of twist.

Strange combinations can work out well sometimes so I decided to pair this cute dress with cool fish net tights. Seriously no body shaming but I look like a kasserol in these, lol. I have lots of fun putting this thing on, I was lole Dory caught in a net! You’d expected me to wear some decent pumps or heels with this dress but I prefer casual and comfortable. Words you don’t always hear when it comes to serious fashion! These velvet boots have a beautiful shimmer and the little heel is feminine yet comfortable. I’m wearing these with black glitter socks, because there is no such thing as too much glitter. Just like these earrings, which give me that 1980’s vibe and Im loving it. The shiny faux leather jacket makes the whole a little more Josine!

The dress is made of a light jersey and is allover printed with glitter. It’s lined which gives the dress a nice drape. I’m wearing a UK 20 which -to me- is on the bigger side but it has the perfect length. A great dress for New Year’s Eve, or any other occasion to dress up for. I’ve combined it with a biker jacket but it also it perfect with a cardigan or jacket to be more dressed. This jacket I bought on sale and is a UK 20 as well but fits narrow on the sleeves. Its shiny cracked fake leather material makes it a little tacky but I like it. The boots are wide fit (E fit) which is just perfect, I can easily walk on them all day!
