Switch season, not style! In preppy & animal print on one of the last days of summer

The number of items with an animal print is growing in my closet. It took me a while to accept these prints but now I am hooked.  I couldn’t resist to combine it in my own preppy way with high heels and light blue and a little collar. Typically me!

This was such a day where I didn’t know what season I was in. Is this still summer or are we already in fall and just skipped everything in between? I love the change of the seasons, they all have their own charmes. When it comes to my clothing I don’t really change a lot, I only change the way I style it depending on the weather. When it starts to get colder I don’t like to adjust my wardrobe. Instead I like to wear more layers, not giving up summer just yet.

The dress has long sleeves and is wider from the waist down. Underneath I’m wearing a light blue basic blouse, to bring out the colours of the print. I’ve been wearing blouses underneath my dress for years, hello 2017 trend! The belt is my current favourite and I love how it accentuates my waist. Plus it also helps keeping the dress a little less wide. These cute sandals and socks are so cute. In winter I would wear it with tights and tall boots.

The dress is made of a heavy jersey but still has a nice drape. It’s a very comfortable fabric and it’s best to describe it as a wooden fabric, but no itch. I’m wearing a size M as it’s quite a wide fit, though it’s a but snug on the upper arms. The blue blouse is from last year and is a size EU46.
