That cognac suede and black can be a beautiful combination is a fact, simple and clean. This time not boho seventies but office ready.
Yes it’s true, I like the casual bohemian style. Though I am a huge fan of preppy dresses too, so my twisted mix of styles sometimes adds up to new combinations. Like this one, classic cognac and black tones combined together. Added the suede and style makes this a revival of the 1970’s office outfit.
This dress has a lovely shape. The A-line shape complements almost every figure. The cut seam at the waist emphasizes the waist line, the flare at the bottom emphasizes the desired hourglass body. The suede is of course fake, but made from a lovely heavy fabric which helps in covering up. I am wearing a size 48 here of the dress. I didn’t want to waste the nice shape of the dress so I decided to wear something underneath it instead. The turtle neck is a fashion must have for this fall and is a great way to wear all those sleeve less dress and tops you have in your closet. The heavy denier tights are from Ulla Popken, I am wearing the size 48-50 and is a dull black. The shoes are old, real leather vintage pumps -which I should wear more often!
