All fancy in my houndstooth suit alongside the golf court. All I need is a cup of tea in the country club!

The women’s suit is one of the leading trends of this season. You can wear it decent, business style with a perfect cut or very casual like I did. My love for preppy looks is real so when I spotted this suit I was hooked. The design of the hounds tooth, integrated in a heavy jersey quality and with this fit is what makes my fashion heart skip a beat. It had my name written all over it and I had to wear it, pregnant or not!

The suit is made of a firm jersey quality, almost a Punto Milano which makes it look dressed but wear comfortably. To me this is the perfect combination, no matter how much I love fashion something has to fit properly and wear nicely. After all, I am not a model, I am a blogger and I wear whatever I want. The long length of this blazer is a new one for me. Since my hips are the widest part, the little voice in my head said that such a length might no be flattering. As you know by I now I don’t do fashion rules and so I decided to go for it. The blazer fits me well, the sleeves and shoulders are fitted, which I love about a good jacket. It’s slightly waisted and has a nice drape because of the fabric.

For tops I wear a EU size 46/48 which is UK 18/20, this blazer is a size 3 as Belloya has their own sizing. This is also the size I normally wear from them, so I would say it fits normal. However I can’t really check as I can’t close it. However I never wear a blazer closed up anyway. If you prefer to wear it buttoned up or even oversized, then go for a size bigger.

I’ve paired it here with the ton-sur-ton trousers however I’ve also worn it with a black flare or a jeans, depending on how casual you like to dress. These trousers, they look awesome right? Actually these are a tregging, again so comfortable and dressed in one go! Unfortunately they do have a very narrow fit and a low rise so I have ordered a size bigger. A size 4 which is still on the small side, I am wearing it below the baby bump.

The blouse is a maternity style from asos and I have it already for a while. By now a straight size blouse doesn’t fit over my belly anymore! It’s size EU 48 which is a UK 20 and fit me perfectly. The turned up collar is very nice and can be closed at the back with two buttons. Belloya offers some nice allover printed blouses as well, just dare to mix those prints. These real leather boots are so beautiful and I have them for a year already. They are real classics and never go out of style, and even better, available in several wide fit calf sizes. They are still available now by the way and also in black and dark brown.
