Let me share my sale shopping secrets with you. Today I am showing you a utility waistcoat in the country side
It’s the best time to go shopping as there’s sale everywhere. When you watch the trends, you can get some very affordable fashion styles. Most people are trend followers and not trend setters; so this means that the collections which are on top of trends, are no in sale. This happened with this utility waistcoat in army green, a trend color and utility style which both are the trends for coming season.
As Mango fits very small, I expected the same from Violeta by Mango. My suspicion was right. Where I normally wear a top side 46, sometimes 48 (UK 20) for this style I ordered a size XL which is a european size 50. By pulling the drawstrings at the waist you create a more shaped look. The cotton linen fabric makes it that it creases a little and that makes the waistcoat a lot more fun. I combined it with a viscose top, jeans with a washed effect en a statement necklace. Of course some high wedges, yes, even in the mud next to a horse.
I stopped caring what others think of me or my size. So yes, I wear my waistcoat with bare arms. You should try it to. Nobody is watching anyway. If you really can’t get over it, just wear a t-shirt underneath. My advise? A nice short sleeve shirt with a small turn up. Gives it even more a utility look. Though combine it with something feminine to keep the girly look.
