What summer skirts do you wear?

In Holland we have this saying when summer starts and it’s literary named “skirts day” which is the first warm day of the year when all women wear skirts. Often this is end of April, but this time it’s was in early May. Now the weather has turned bad again, but let’s be prepared for when the sun starts to shine again. Earlier I showed you my favorite maxi skirts, you can see this here. Though there are lots of different shapes in skirts, I have lined up my favorites, one of each shape. Which one would you wear?

Which of these skirts is your favorite? I really like the black and white skater skirt but all the options are cute. To be honest, I often grab the same type of skirts when I’m shopping but now and then I try other shapes and I am pleasantly surprised. Just try a couple of styles before saying you’re not a skirts- person. Not every skirt might suit your body type so just have a try. Don’t forget, sometimes you just want to wear something you like in stead of always making sure it slims you down. A few tricks: by tucking a top into the skirt you accentuate the waist line, creating more curve and thus looking slimmer. If you think that’s scary just wear a jacket over it so you feel more save. Underneath my skirts I like to wear a cotton shorts legging or my bandelettes. Ready for summer!
