Red, gold & leopard print in downtown Liverpool, the perfect plus size proof shopping city!

While it was raining cats and dogs here in the Netherlands, we were running from shop top shop in British Liverpool. I love this city but let’s talk about this later. In the street of our hotel there were cute corners everywhere. A perfect place to photograph my new favourite pants in leopard print.

Do you know that feeling? You buy a garment and you immediately see the look in front of you? At least that’s how it works for me. It’s always the question whether it works out or not. When I got home I had little time to pack for Liverpool, but I decided red and gold are always a good match to an animal print. Red isn’t something I wear a lot, though more often nowadays. This top I got from earlier this year was a perfect match as well as my golden boots.

All exited I went to Liverpool to visit the Curve Fashion Festival. We decided to add a couple of days to our trip. It’s always fun to be in a city abroad and Liverpool is amazing for (plus size) shopping! All those great buildings and lovely streets. Obviously when in the UK we need to take a photo with the phone boots. Good for you guys that smell isn’t something we can photograph, OMG!

A while ago I spotted these trousers in the lookbook and finally they’re here now! I couldn’t wait and when I found them in the store my size was sold out. Just before leaving I decided to go and check a different store and there it was! I’m wearing a EU size 48 which is UK 20 and it wears so good. It’s comfortable, great fit and a dense fabric so no ugly wobbly bits. I love the light and darker areas randomly in the print.
