All outfits in June 2017 lined up, which is your favourite?

The month in which the summer started is June. Even here in the Netherlands it was real summer weather and the temperatures went out the roof. So those first days of summer mean also sheer outfits however this country can easily switch and so we had a bit of cold weather as well. Though I still loved it, a little bit of variation in the weather applies to the looks as well.

too hot

Of course it was too warm, when it goes from grey weather to extremely hot it’s hard to handle but we’re not complaining. Everything is better than those rainy days so I was happy to see some hot days and some cool days. What do you do when it’s that hot? Me, I don’t do anything, I can’t find the energy so I made less photos for the blog and enjoyed my days instead. I will make it up to you guys!

trumpet sleeves & flowers

This is one of my favorite looks when it’s not that warm. The trumpet sleeves are not very efficient during dinner but other than that it doesn’t bother me. I love this sleeve shape and the print is also very cute, I love this grannie look. As always I combined the preppy with denim to keep it casual, the waistcoat is something I wear each summer and remains a good combo. Check out more photos and details by clicking the photo.

zig zag zig zag

When it became extremely warm, true summer, I realized I don’t have real summer dresses. Doesn’t this amaze you, well I was shocked to actually have something missing in my closet! I do have dresses for parties or going out, but nothing for daily basis so I went shopping. Happy that I was when I found this little budget number, my new favorite dress! In this look I’m wearing it with sandals but I also combine it with sneakers for a more casual look.

festival vibes

Where’s the party at? I’m in festival vibes, when it’s warm outside and the days are longer I just feel like a beach breeze and dancing moves. This outfit is a bit in between gangster and festival, lol! I love this tunic with the high-low effect and it’s not too transparant. The prude me even dares to wear it with a bikini top underneath, go figure! The good part about fashion that it’s always coming back, finally I can wear the sun hat again, go 1990’s!

lemonade

Who would have thought that my new favourite colour would be yellow? It’s a colour I normally didn’t like but this shade is so bright and fun, I love it. The biker jacket is by the way the perfect basic item in my closet, it makes every outfit bright and colourful. The fit is amazing as it has elastic in the sleeves, but more on that in the blog. sports!

On te hottest day of June I decided to work out, well not really. I went to an event in Amsterdam which was a massive, all together, sports event. The lovely Ashley Graham was coming over from LA to show her moves and I didn’t want to miss that of course. I got to pick out an active wear outfit, as well as 2 of my readers. casual corset

When you’ve been following me for a while you know I’m not into oversized. I love it, as I can just crawl into it and hide on darker days but not for fashion looks. This oversized shirt made me think again as it has a clear waistline because of the corset effect. It was love at first sight and I’m so happy with it. I got a lot of comments from you guys that the neckline is too high but I don’t mind this at all. Sometimes it’s fine to hide those assets, lol. See all photos by clicking the photo.

This year was the first year I managed to post a full list of all outfits of the month. Below you can see the previous months, I love to see the transition. Going from winter to spring and now in the middle of summer. I love fall and to be honest I can’t wait for the next season to begin, but first enjoy a little bit of sunshine.
