The romantic flowers on this dress matches perfectly with the modern pinstripes of the blouse. It’s almost a way of preppy meets vintage. That’s what I love about fashion, making new combinations and mixing items you normally wouldn’t combine.

The fit of this dress feels like it’s made for me, for my body shape. It’s fitted at the top part and from the waist down it flares. I love this type of dresses, which are referred to as skater dress. The belt is also very cute and emphasises the waist, a cute detail.

I love to combine items which aren’t the standard way of mixing. Especially when I get a new item, I love to combine it with an old item. This way I’m wearing (almost) everything from my closet and some items even get a ‘new life’ in a way.

This blouse is actually the real vintage piece, or well it’s old. I’ve had it for years and it’s the perfect basic. It suits well underneath dresses like this but I also wear it under a jumper. The fitted sleeves is what I like best about this fit. It goes well with the dress, which is from Yours Clothing. Here I’m wearing a size UK 22 which fits like an EU 48.
