The secret to this perfect dress is the faux wrap!
You know you’ve found the perfect dress when you put it on and it’s fits. No extra belt, no wiggling the dress in place, no effort. The drape is how I want it to be, it’s doesn’t show are lumps and bumps and it even flatters.
You know I don’t really care if something is flattering or not. After all, I’m the one who has to feel pretty in it. However I do prefer an outfit that has everything all wrapped in to one. It has to look good and wear comfortabel, it has to be my style. The plus is when it’s flattering. This dress has it all!
don’t flatter yourself. I don’t dress up for you. I dress up for me
The dress has a faux wrap, which means it’s a wrap dress without a wrap. Only the chest past has a wrap creating the V-neck, but from the waist down it’s a regular dress. Since my hips are over a size bigger compared to the rest of my body, this is the perfect shape. So I’m actually wearing a size down, this is a size no 2. The top part is fitted and the skirt part has a flare, my kind of style. The belt is fixed to the dress and is knotted towards the back.
What I love about such dresses is that you can wear it in so many ways. I never wear a V-neck because I don’t think it suits my shape, my buste is not big enough. That’s why I like to wear a blouse with a collar underneath. Other options are a col neck or a singlet with a nice neck line. If you want to wear it more dressed, go for the cleavage with this dress. Obviously I went for the preppy option.
During the fall days I love to wear a hat, cap or barette. My hair gets all fuzzy and the wind and rain doesn’t do it good either. A good hat goes along for years and this is also one I have for a while already. Since the dress length is a little too classy for me (sorry not sorry) I like to spice it up with some casual items. These ankle boots and the leather purse go with it perfectly.
