1, 2, 3 ski! Let me take you with me on the slopes and check out my ski gear

In February I went on a skiing trip with my family and it was a perfect week! For the first time in years I shopped new ski gear, let me show you what I was wearing on the slopes. That week we had all kinds of weather, from bright sunshine up to rain and even lots of snow. I wasn’t working on my blog so only the last day I was reminded to make photos and it was snowing continuously.

There’s nothing really that I can’t find in my size but what’s always a hassle is nice ski gear. There are lots of options here in Holland in plus size but I wanted A) no black and B) a complete suit, something matching. I already have a nice pair of black pants and a coat as well. So when I started online shopping earlier this year I fell in love! When it arrived the order wasn’t complete, apparently the bottoms were sold out. Disappointed I returned the parcel and just assumed I had to do with what I already had, boring black.

I checked the webshop every week and I was so happy to see it was back in stock! I ordered all items in double sizes, not taking any risk this time. The ski pants I’m wearing are a UK size 20 (EU48) and fits even wide. The coat is the biggest one, a size UK 22 (EU50) because I like it to fit wide and comfortable while skiing. Also it has to go over a fleece sweater and thermo wear. The pants aren’t lined but have a facing of faux fur and feels wonderful to the skin. The coat has everything for skiing, including a pocket for the lift pass as a covered hood inside the collar.
